At Quality Teachers we believe communication is the key to a professional and successful working relationship. We strive to listen to our candidates and find the right position to meet their needs.

This Computer Science Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups, across a range of abilities. Lessons need to be planned that meet the needs of the new computing curriculum and are both engaging and challenging. Any successful candidate needs to be enthusiastic and motivated in delivering high quality teaching using a wide range of ICT programs.

With over 1,000 students this North Manchester secondary school has nurtured a large community feel where all staff and students are invested in delivering the school's mission. Their mission is to achieve excellence in everything they do, and their dedication to this aim is evidenced by being graded as an 'OUTSTANDING' school by Ofsted. The school also provides 6th form provision for post 16 students and there would be the opportunity to teach lessons at Key Stage 5 for a strong candidate.

Teaching and learning at the school is one of many aspects that led to it's 'OUTSTANDING' grading, one Ofsted inspector commented 'staff at the school build positive relationships with students which underpins the outstanding teaching being delivered and their excellent exam results.'

To join the QT team and be successful in this Computer Science Teacher role you will need to:

*Hold QTS or equivalent qualifications that allow you to be placed in schools
*Have effective classroom management
*Be competent at using a wide range of modern ICT programs
*Build and develop professional relationships with both school staff and students
