This fantastic Secondary Music Teacher position available for an initial long term contract is the perfect opportunity to join a modern and lively school based in East Manchester.

This Music Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups, across a range of abilities. You will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons that teach both music theory and practise. A strong candidate should be willing to assist in extra curricular departmental activities such as school choir performances and concerts.

This school caters for around 600 students and aims to deliver a rigorous curriculum that promotes academic achievement. In addition to achieving academically, one of the main principles of the school is to ensure students also develop morally, spiritually, physically and culturally to become well rounded young adults. Despite being graded as 'Inadequate' by Ofsted the school has a new head teacher that is taking decisive action and has a clear vision for how the school can improve in both the short and long term future.

To join the QT team and be successful in this Music Teacher role you will need to:

*Hold QTS or equivalent qualifications that allow you to be placed in schools
*Have effective classroom management
*Build and develop professional relationships with both school staff and students
